MEET DEBORAH MICHON
New Leadership Delivering Results for Our Community
My name is Deborah Michon and I am running for the School Board for Richmond Community Schools. I would be extremely honored and humble to receive your support in November.
I have 36 years of education experience, 17 of them as assistant principal/principal of Richmond High School. I have lived in the Richmond Community for 18 years. My son graduated from Richmond High School. I am an active member of St. Augustine Church. I have experienced Richmond Community Schools both as a parent and an administrator and believe that I would be able to provide my knowledge and expertise to the board.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Education from Eastern Michigan University (B.B.A) and a master’s degree in Educational Administration (M.A. Ed.) from Wayne State University.
I would bring to the board my experience in education, leadership, and my passion for the students as this has been my utmost importance while being involved with this district. I believe that I can make a positive impact on Richmond Schools for many years to come.
